This book is a treasure trove of information. Not only will it help bass players learn their craft, it is equally great for any musician that wants to learn theory in general. It is chock full of great exercises and lessons on chord and scale theory as well as rhythm exercises (which is lacking in other similar texts). Peter McGinley’s Modern Bass Player is fantastic and I highly recommend it!
